Donor Norma F. could not be clearer about the way she feels. “When I see kids who are dealing with psychiatric or emotional problems, I need to help,” she says. “I hate to see a child under a cloud.”

Norma established a fellowship in Pediatric Psychopharmacology at the MGH with the goal of lifting the cloud of psychiatric illness in children. Her gift supports a talented pediatric psychiatrist who performs community outreach, conducts research and teaches junior faculty.

In addition to her generous fellowship establishment, Norma continues to support the hospital by giving to the MGH Fund, as she has for many years. She understands the impact of unrestricted giving—funds that can be applied where they are needed most. “There is no donation I give that is appreciated more than an unrestricted gift,” she notes.
