As their relationship with the MGH has deepened, so too has David and Randi Z.’s response to the hospital’s needs. The couple’s connection with the MGH began when David’s father was a patient years ago. “I recall being so impressed by the way the doctors and nurses at the MGH treated my father, as well as the entire family,” he says.
David and Randi have long given to the MGH Fund, and David’s successful cancer treatment moved them to do still more. “We knew we wanted to be part of the MGH on a deeper level,” Randi relates. “When we heard that the Yawkey Center would have three floors dedicated to cancer care, we approached the hospital and told them to use our funds for this important building initiative.” |
